I bought this Hair Dryer about 7 months ago. I think it the best that amazon has. It was easy to install and it compact. The retract cord and night light which I dont use is nice, but I like the LCD clock on it and it keep pretty good time. As for the dryer part it great, I have had zero issue with it for now. Now for the bad part, after about of 7 months of use. My hair dryer quit working. Then the next day it came back on. The problem I found it is the rectracting of the cord. You push the two bottom buttons at the same time and the cord retracts, now that is a plus but over time like 7 months of use, the rubber ball which slams under the dryer unit to retrack the cord. The rubber ball, stop the power cord from rectracting anymore. This created short and over time it was not getting power to the hand dryer. I am comptuer and electronic savy, so I just spliced out the short part of the power cord, got creative and solder the new piece of the power cord to the circuit board. Renforced the rubber ball and it work good as new. So if you get this hair dry you will love it at first. But retract the cord in steps and let your hand finsh the retracting. Then let the rubber ball go slowly up into it slot. If you do it this way would should be ok. Opps too late for me. But I am back in the game and it saved me in buying a new one. Thank God for high school electronics.
