I bought this hair dryer a couple of months ago and really love it. I had read the reviews about the cord not being a spiral stretch cord and that is why I bought this one. I have a linen closet next to my vanity and there is a plug-in inside the closet. I hang the dryer in there out of sight so when I take it out to use, it has a much longer cord then a spiral cord and I need the extra length to reach my vanity so it works perfect for me. So if you are looking for the spiral cord do not buy this unit, but if you need a longer cord this is the one for you.

This little blowdryer is quite powerful. I was genuinely suprised by how much power it really has. Drys quickly and does not get too hot. Love it other than the cord that is not coiled like it indicates in the picture.

In my old house, equipped with a small bathroom and four users, this device has made life better. It hangs on the wall within easy reach, gets the hair-drying job done for spouse, children, and me, and then easily returns to its neat, out-of-the-way spot. We should've gotten one of these things years ago. It doesn't produce the hottest blow-drying airstream, but it's quite adequate for our application, and a haircare guru would probably say that somewhat cooler is better, anyway. Buy one; you probably won't regret it.

Does everything it advertised. The highest heat setting is not real hot compared to other hair dryers, but this may be a good feature. I am happy with the product and would recommend it if asked.

My previous dryer finally broke after many years. I replaced it with the same model. This one works as well as the old one and fit on the old mounting. I don't care for the night lite and it has some chrome colored trim that I think is cheap looking. I keep the safety breaker shut off when not in use to keep the night lite off. Shipping was fast.

Disappointed with Speeds - S. Burke -
I had recently used a wall mounted hair dryer in a hotel and loved it because it had three speeds for heat and air flow, making it perfect to dry and style. It wasn't a Sunbeam/Oster brand, but when I searched, this one had the main feature I wanted. I was hesitant to order a wall mounted, but the three-speeds won me over. To my disappointment, the "three" speed heat/air flow is only two. The medium setting blows just as hard as the high and is too forceful for me to style as I dry, so I ended up purchasing what I already had... a two-speed hair dryer.

I bought this Hair Dryer about 7 months ago. I think it the best that amazon has. It was easy to install and it compact. The retract cord and night light which I dont use is nice, but I like the LCD clock on it and it keep pretty good time. As for the dryer part it great, I have had zero issue with it for now. Now for the bad part, after about of 7 months of use. My hair dryer quit working. Then the next day it came back on. The problem I found it is the rectracting of the cord. You push the two bottom buttons at the same time and the cord retracts, now that is a plus but over time like 7 months of use, the rubber ball which slams under the dryer unit to retrack the cord. The rubber ball, stop the power cord from rectracting anymore. This created short and over time it was not getting power to the hand dryer. I am comptuer and electronic savy, so I just spliced out the short part of the power cord, got creative and solder the new piece of the power cord to the circuit board. Renforced the rubber ball and it work good as new. So if you get this hair dry you will love it at first. But retract the cord in steps and let your hand finsh the retracting. Then let the rubber ball go slowly up into it slot. If you do it this way would should be ok. Opps too late for me. But I am back in the game and it saved me in buying a new one. Thank God for high school electronics.
